Setting Up In-Store Sign-ups

SleekPass includes a public sign-up page for your store. Customers scan a QR code, enter their email, and receive an email with Apple and Google Wallet buttons. This also creates a customer record in your Shopify admin if one doesn’t already exist.

You can also place the Loyalty pass sign-up form block on a page of your own store. It uses the same form text and fields as the SleekPass sign-up page.

Put the form on your store

1. In SleekPass → Share passes → Sign-up page, select Add to your store. The theme editor opens with Loyalty pass sign-up form ready to place. Stop if that block is not shown.
2. In the theme editor, select Save. Open the page on your store and check that the form title and Get Loyalty Pass button appear. Stop if the form is missing.
3. Copy that page’s full HTTPS address. In SleekPass → Share passes → Sign-up page, enter it in Your sign-up page address and select Save. The counter QR now points to that page. Stop if the saved address differs.

The form joins a customer only when they submit it. The confirmation tells them to check their email for the Wallet buttons; it does not put a pass link on the page. This block is for sign-ups at your counter and is different from Join rewards, which is for eligible signed-in customers.

Get Your QR Code

1. Open SleekPass in your Shopify admin.
2. Open Loyalty pass, then select Manage sharing.
3. On the Sign-up page tab, find the Sign-up link section.
4. Click “Download QR” to save the QR code image.

You’ll also see a read-only URL with a Copy button for the SleekPass sign-up page. The QR code points to that page unless you save Your sign-up page address.

Print and Display

Print the QR code and place it where customers will see it:

• Checkout counter
• Table tents
• Window signage
• Receipts or packaging inserts

What Customers See

When a customer scans the QR code with their phone:

1. They land on a simple sign-up page with your store name.
2. They enter their email address (and optionally their name).
3. Submitting the form joins the rewards program immediately.
4. The confirmation asks them to check their email. The email contains Add to Apple Wallet and Add to Google Wallet buttons. Each button opens only the requested pass; it does not ask them to verify or join again.

Customizing the Sign-Up Page

You can customize the text on the sign-up page:

1. Open Loyalty pass, select Manage sharing, and stay on the Sign-up page tab.
2. Edit the Title, Subtitle, Button Text, Success Title, and Success Subtitle fields.
3. Add up to five custom sign-up fields. Each field can be a text, phone, or date field with its own label, and can be marked required. Email is always collected and cannot be removed.
4. Click Save.

The live preview on the right shows how the page will look as you make changes.

Lead Capture

When someone who has not purchased from you submits the form, SleekPass creates a new customer record in Shopify and joins them to rewards. If an exact Shopify customer already exists, SleekPass uses that record without overwriting its profile. The form does not subscribe anyone to marketing; collect marketing consent separately through Shopify.
